Actual tears were shed while eating the food at Tsukiji Outer Market. I would recommend specific places in the area but who am I kidding? Everything was absolutely heavenly! 🍣🍤🍘🍙🍢 My ultimate favorite bite though was the sushi with uni and torched wagyu. 😭 (Swipe to the last photo to see me looking lovingly at my food!!!)

Seafood paradise! 😍 The outer market had so much food stalls that my friend and I shared most of our food choices so that we could try a lot. We got the scallops with cheese & uni, wagyu beef, strawberry mochi, grilled squid, & I tried this uzo potato soft serve which surprisingly was so good ! 🤤

You’re paying for the view and the atmosphere more than the food, but when I have ordered food here’s it’s always been good. Opens 5pm, nice for a drink on a sunset evening outside of rainy season!

Just when you think the hustle and bustle on the streets of Medan is about to slow down, numerous food stalls and restaurants along Selat Penjang Street wake up to feed the rumbling stomachs of locals and tourists as they always do. Anything light and heavy, Selat Penjang Street has it. For a classic savory meal, don’t miss out on the Chicken Rice at Nasi Ayam and, for dessert, get your hands on the super crispy Martabak Piring Murni that comes with chocolate, cheese, nuts, or a mix of all three.

Bangkok’s famous ‘boat noodles’ - it was a popular form of “fast-food-on-water” before which is now move to an alley. Boat noodles in Thai is known as guay diow rua - a simple bite-sized portions of either rice or yellow egg noodles with meat or tom yam soup are served up in equally tiny bowls which cost about THB15 each.
