Eat and Run

Philippines

This is our “Eat and never go back” adventures. Food that we tried just cause we want to know why people are hyped up about it and just for the sake of “we’ve tried it”.

Cello’s Doughnuts (Shangri-La Plaza)

Typical donut. I honestly think it’s overhyped. It’s deliciously normal. It’s okay but it’s not something I would personally crave for. 👍🏻 We ordered: Honey Glaze, White Oats, Cinnamon, Pastillas and Peanut Butter.

Nanyang (SM Aura)

As all Toast Box branches in the Philippines closed down last May 2018, the team behind it made sure to open their very own Asian concept restaurant - Nanyang. Menu is almost like Toast Box but sad to say they failed to reach the level of taste that Toast Box imprinted in me. My favorite Laksa in Toast Box is a disappointment in Nanyang 😞. The only dish that I say will really convince me to go back is their multi-grain peanut butter toast. 👌🏼

The ambience of the shop is nice and very comfy. The tea is refreshing. It’s not a wow experience but it is recommendable if you just wanna chill while having refreshments.
