DESCRIPTION: The spiraling and mesmerizing effect created by the architectural design of this structure opens up opportunities for all sorts of creative photography. The area is quite isolated, being atop a car park, which is perfect for filming as well. PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: I came to this location to shoot a scene for a film I was working on as well. It was perfect because there were so few people. But the funny story is we came during sunset and had to keep moving the camera as the shadows cast caused continuity issues. Great location though. ADVICE: Explore the area around Lok Wah South Estate for a taste of what other parts of Hong Kong look like and other great photography spots.

DESCRIPTION: The fading paints, the colorful buildings still make for a great photo, seeming like a piece of art straight out of an exhibition. The location attracts people of all ages, the basketball courts filled by the young, benches and exercise machines packed with the elderly, and local residents leaving or arriving home. PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: I came here to shoot a scene for a film I was working on. The people in the area made it a bit hard to shoot but we still got some great shots. ADVICE: If you are looking for a perfect photo with no one in the background or walking into your shoot, you either must get really lucky or go at an odd hour as the area is usually crowded most hours of the day.
