The Lion City roars with rich local cuisine, majestic green spaces, multicultural experiences, shopping meccas, and a trusty transport system. Step into one of the world’s leading financial hubs and explore what the island has to offer!
After a bit of rain in the morning, I love walking around in different areas around the quainter parts of the city. I find town too commercialised, but there are such nice little spots cropping up all over, as the “sea turtles” (people who study abroad and bring ideas back) make their way home. The slower relaxed ambience of retirees and quiet helps me take a deep breath and relax. That sense of peace that washes over me is intoxicating and I need more days like that. Happiness. Like this cat.

Planning a trip is never easy. I learned that having an itinerary is always better than looking places up when you’re already there. It’s not only a hassle, but also a waste of your precious time when you’re in a foreign country. I’m going back to Singapore next month, and despite the fact that SG is relatively small, there are still a few places on my wishlist that I want to explore when I get there.
The one where I remember all the places I’ve watched concerts in. A backstory: When I started working in publishing, the first beat I ever covered was music. I’ve since had the pleasure of watching (and sometimes also interviewing) some of the biggest names in music throughout my writing career. I also ended up traveling to watch some of my favorite artists in concert—something I still do on occasion. Thank you for the music! 🎶
Mobile Legends is the most popular online multi-player mobile game today. It is entertaining, addicting and actually brilliant. Did you know that most heroes (characters) in this game are inspired by either a real person, a myth or a famous character. This is an ultimate fan guide - Let’s put the action to our feet and go on an ultimate tour to check out where our fave heroes originated. Side Note: More often than not, when a blockbuster movie comes out, MOBA will release a new hero that resembles or is inspired by one of the main characters of that movie. Brilliant! Comment on heroes that you think I should add. ☺️

They sell gourmet burgers here. You can get burgers made from beef, chicken, fish and lamb. They also sell vegetarian burgers. The burgers are juicy and flavorful. I got the Miss Piggy burger and it was 👌

Industrial-style hotel that's glam AF! It sits in an old heritage building, which also became a warehouse, night club, and an underground (illegal activity) den.

My favorite local authors in the Philippines have raved about this one. All I know is the owner of BooksActually is very passionate about promoting Singaporean literature and has a cat who stays inside the bookstore. That makes me more excited!

Hero: Badang, Tribal Warrior Position: Fighter Ultimate: Charges his fists and dashes towards a designated direction dealing 230 (+50% Total Physical ATK) pts of Physical Damage to the enemies along the path Badang is a legendary strongman from Singapore. He is associated with several geographical locations and historical artefacts, most notably the Singapore Stone. The Singapore Stone is a fragment of a large slab of rock that sat at the mouth of the Singapore River. It is currently on display at the National Museum of Singapore. One folklore for the slab's origin is that it was lifted and thrown by Badang during one of his feats of strength.

It’s interesting how we spent several days by the Bay of Singapore and missed this. It’s interesting durian-shaped architecture is definitely something I would like to see for myself in SG. Reviews also show that this performing arts center has theaters, a library, and various art galleries that I hope I could check out.

Anyone who knows me probably knows that I’m a sucker for a great view. And what’s a better way to see Singapore in all its glory than by riding a giant ferris wheel right? I hope I can ride it at least once, preferably during sunset, so I can see the city transition from light to dark.

This is definitely on the top of my list because we missed seeing it back in 2015. I personally love nature, and because of a friend, I’ve recently been really fond of urban natural structures. Gardens by the Bay’s well known for its effort to create a sustainable park that houses species of plants from all over the world. I’ve heard stories about this garden and I definitely can’t wait to see it for myself.
