The long line feels like it's never-ending. We always have to wait 1-2hrs before we get a table. It's always worth it, though! Samgyupsalamat's cheese is the best; just thinking about it while typing this makes me hungry!
First Korean BBQ of the trip! Here, the servers cook the meats for you and yep, they also grill the kimchi which isn't really a thing in the Philippines unless you grill the kimchi yourself. By the way, grilled kimchi is bomb and an entirely different experience. I don't think I can eat kimchi anymore without grilling it!
I love how they have compartments for your personal belongings. Most of all, we didn't smell like grilled meat after stepping out of the restaurant! Ventilation = 10/10!
Korean culture has indeed influenced our lifestyle so massively, especially by the way we consume food nowadays. Who doesn't love KBBQ, anyway? There are some Korean Barbecue joints around UST but my favorite is still... Samgyupsalamat! Located at Fusebox Asturias, students literally wait in line for hours to satisfy the samgyupsal craving. I was one of them for so many circumstances.
