Rags2Riches is a fashion and design house that believes style can be sustainable. They started in the business transforming woven "rags" into beautiful bags. They work to create meaningful opportunities with artisans in underprivileged communities across the country. Each bag is made with the artisan, the environment, and the advocate (shoppers) in mind!

Loop.

Quezon City, Philippines • Recommendation •

Shampoo bars, bamboo toothbrushes, cloth menstrual pads, menstrual cups, reusable shavers, cute tumblers, and quirky kitchenware--Loop has it. They're quickly becoming the one-stop shop in the area for those who want to live sustainably. They stock some local brands, but also have a lot of hard-to-find international brands. I replenished my Ecobar stash while I was here but I have my eye on their other personal care items!

Ritual

Makati City, Philippines • Wishlist •

Ritual was one of the first brands/stores I've heard of in Manila that did the whole bulk store/refillery/bring your own containers. You can also buy reusable containers there to fill with personal hygeine products, cleaning materials, or dry grains, etc. Everything I have from them have been gifts (like the Peppermint Handsoap or Traveller's Mist). No complaints!
