There's nothing like a good weekend hike to clear your headspace. These are the hikes I've done around the Philippines so far!

Mount Maculot

Recommendation posted 15 days ago

At 700+ m.asl, the view of Taal Lake from the view point of Mount Maculot was glorious! 👌🏽Difficulty level would probably be a 4/9 because of all the incline, but thankfully there were 7 rest stops before you reach the Rockies. 🍃 P.S. Dunno when they plan to open the trail to the top, but if you do summit the mountain, it’s around 900+ m.asl.

Go on a weekday cause we went on a Wednesday and when we reached the falls we were the only people there! 🙌🏼

Mount Batulao

Recommendation posted 8 days ago

Compared to Mt. Maculot, this hike is probably easier cause there are more open trails (until you get to the 8th-12th peaks—more rocky climbs and narrow passages), but this one’s a way longer one! Definitely more than 10km, and this one stands at 813 m.asl. 💪🏽
