When a man is tired of London he is tired of life

I grew up south of London, and while it’s always been a major tourist destination, the city has really transformed over the last 20 years. The combination of history and modernity is tough to match.

Best place for watching Shakespeare in London of course. Pay 5 pounds and stand with the “groundlings” just as it would have been in Shakespeare’s day.

Has Matt gone mad? Does he have a hidden secret? Why is he recommending a bra shop? Well because they sell the best bras in London (so I’ve heard), supply the Queen, and have free coffee and biscuits to keep husbands happy.

One of the worlds greatest museum collections and completely free. Walk in off the street and in 30 seconds you are face to face with the Rosetta Stone.

I love maps and Stanford’s is perhaps one of the best map shops in the world. From antique maps to gloves to travel guides...

Watched an excellent performance of The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Nighttime here. I read the book a few years ago and the play is a clever adaptation!
