XOXO, Gossip Girl

New York City

Hey, Upper East Siders. Gossip Girl here... Well, not really. It's been 7 years since its series finale, but "Gossip Girl" remains to be one of my top favorite TV shows of all time. To commemorate my undying love for The Non-Judging Breakfast Club (and also the other characters, except for Vanessa Abrams 🤣), I have here some of the most iconic GG filming spots around New York City that I'd LOVE to visit one day. If you have yet to see the show, this is a legit spoiler warning. However, if you love Gossip Girl just as much as I do, let's fan-girl together 💋 Side note: To this day, the ending still doesn't make sense to me and I don't think I'll ever accept it. Just saying ✌️

Grand Central Terminal

"Spotted at Grand Central, bags in hand, Serena van der Woodsen..." Appeared in the pilot episode of "Gossip Girl," this is where Constance Billard It Girl Serena van der Woodsen was first introduced. I've already seen the Grand Central Terminal in tons of NY-based movies, but it always reminds me of GG every time.

Blair Waldorf, together with her minions, love to eat their lunch while sitting on the steps of the Met. IMO, it's one of the most memorable GG spots in New York because a lot of high school drama went down here--whether it's between Blair and Serena, or Blair vs. Little Jenny Humphrey!

In the show, the Museum of the City of New York stood as the Constance Billard School for Girls, Blair, Serena, and Jenny's high school. I would love to see the courtyard where the students of Constance (and St. Jude's School for Boys) hung out. It's also where Dan Humphrey said "I love you" to Serena for the very first time. She didn't say it back, BTW, but she eventually did 😅

Where Blair and Dan took down the psycho Georgina Sparks during the season 1 finale of Gossip Girl 🙌🙌🙌 I'll never forget how satisfied I felt after watching that episode!

Ah, the ultra posh van der Woodsen and Bass residence. The Lotte New York Palace was used as the home of the van der Woodsen family, as well as Chuck Bass. Remember when Manhattan's elite (and Dan) enjoyed Sunday brunch in The Palace and things got a little... out of hand? Now playing: Shut Up and Drive by Rihanna!

4 East, 74th Street is the actual address of the Archibald Townhouse, aka Nate's home in the series. Based on countless GG-obsessed blogs, real people do live here currently. So maybe take it easy when taking photos of the facade, don't go knocking on their doors to look for Nathaniel!

"Why settle for some club and a hotel when you can just buy the hotel?" -Chuck Bass Yes. Chuck bought The Empire Hotel back in season 3. Why? Because he's Chuck Bass.

The Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum made an appearance in episode 18 of season 1 where Lily married Bart Bass (yes, Chuck's father, which makes him and Serena half siblings.. sort of). This is also where Dan broke up with Serena and I can still remember how hard I sobbed while watching them slow dance to the tune of "The Ice Is Getting Thinner" by Death Cab for Cutie 😭💔

ChAir (Chuck + Blair) fans know this spot all too well because it's where Chuck and Blair got married the series finale!! Personally though I remember the Bethesda Terrace from season 1. Blair and Serena reconciled here after their brief war and it was just such a bestie moment I'll never forget! ❤️

Dumbo isn't exactly a GG location, but from here you'll be able to see the legendary Humphrey loft where Dan lived with his sister Jenny and former rockstar dad Rufus.
