Lime and Basil Thai Restaurant

Silang, Philippines • Recommendation • 4 months ago

I'm generally not a fan of Thai cuisine (I think it's mostly because everything's just so darn spicy. I feel my tolerance for spicy food has improved though πŸ˜…), but Lime and Basil captured my food-loving heart and I was pleasantly surprised with how good everything tasted! Paul and I made our way here for his birthday weekend trip and we definitely ordered way too much as always lol! I'm obsessed with their Thai Green Curry and Pineapple Fried Rice which, by the way, is served in an actual pineapple!!! Pad Thai and Fresh Spring Rolls were bomb as well ❀️ We went on a Sunday and the place was packed, so I suggest calling ahead to reserve a table. We were seated right away though; one of the perks of dining for two πŸ˜‰πŸ˜

Mendokoro Ramenba (Salcedo Village)

Not a big ramen fan, but wow Mendokoro lives up to the hype! I have yet to try their Super Chasu bowl (an off-the-menu item), but so far I love their Shio ramen! 🍜

Mood Bake Pop-Up Store

Talk about extra ~thicc~ chocolate chip cookies! For PHP 99 a piece, you'd think it's way too pricey for a cookie. For me it's worth the tiny splurge... especially for days when you feel you like treating yo'self! It's pretty filling and they don't skimp on the chocolate here. Texture's a little on the cakey side, but the cookie itself stays moist and chewy even after you refrigerate it. YUM! πŸͺ🀀
