Thankfully, the bridge still stands to this day, serving as a footbridge for pedestrians crossing the River Thames. Fun fact: Londoners used to call it the “Wobbly Bridge” because it was built without the usual supporting columns! The wobbling has stopped since then, but the nickname has stayed.
