Stepping into the Art Playscape at the Keppel Art Center for Art Education is like walking straight into the mind of an artist. It was previously designed like an Enchanted Forest plucked from a fairy tale. Now, it has transformed into a fantastical city entitled “Wandering in Black and White” by Tang Ling Nah. The Art Playscape and Project Gallery offer a rare opportunity to touch and play inside the actual artwork, so your budding artist will feel right at home. Keppel Center for Art Education has several other rooms for kids to get artsy. They can make their own prints at the Children’s Museum Workshop or try their hand at virtual pottery in the Children’s Museum. Check the National Gallery website for special events and announcements as exhibits change every few months.
