Since 1973, Kam Wah Cafe has served loyal patrons of their famous Bo Lo Yau (菠蘿油, Cantonese for "Pineapple Bun with Butter"), a sweet bread that’s crusty on the outside and soft on the inside with a slice of cold butter in the middle. Kam Wah Cafe’s classic cha chaan teng setting makes you forget that you’re in the middle of a city bustling with modernity—until you see suited-up men lining up for their fix of Kam Wah Cafe signature’s Cantonese pastries. Commune with the locals as you all enjoy Hong Kong-style French toast, washed down with Yuen Yeung (鸳鸯, a 50-50 mix of coffee and tea), and finished with So Pey Dahn Tart (酥皮蛋撻, Cantonese for "Puff Pastry Egg Tart").
