Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is a 400-hectare historic site in Bagac, Bataan (about three to four hours from Metro Manila). It's home to several heritage houses and structures that have either been transported from their original locations or replicated in the area. Many local artists and talents have been tapped to contribute to the site's development in form of paintings, murals, sculptures, and more. It offers a great look into Philippine history! 🇵🇭
For many, Marinduque is the province of the Moriones Festival (a Holy Week fiesta involving reenactments of Jesus' Passion), but for me, it is home to countless childhood memories of the beach, our house on the "mountain," and my great grandmother. Recently, I visited Marinduque again (after almost ten years!) to see it in a fresh set of eyes.
I love going to Legazpi Sunday Market! They have some of the best hole-in-the-wall, authentic, and local food 😋 I've tried most of the stalls, and while I keep aiming to taste something new every time I drop by, here are some of the places I can't seem to stop coming back to 😅
I occasionally take road trips to Tagaytay with family and friends, most of the time just for the hell of it (and to eat in a cooler—than Metro Manila at least—environment). Here are some of my best discoveries!
