Two things, clear and simple, are what make Smith special and that’s exactly what I go for—steak and ambience. Smith Butcher and Grill Room features its own butchery room where all the magic happens. Their own steaks are prepped and dry-aged in-house, and even their starters are crafted to herald what’s to come. Smith’s prime cuts are air-flown from all over the world, like Japan, France, or Ireland. Each slice into the steak is perfectly marbled with fat and just oozing with flavor. When friends ask me for a good steak place in the city, top of my head, Smith is the first name that comes to mind.
