I didn't have time to explore the full of this sprawling park, though to be honest the big pond is pretty but not that memorable. If you are pressed on time, head to the north-west corner of the park, where the hidden gem is a traditionally styled Japanese garden nestled within the bigger park. Overall, I preferred Maruyama's atmosphere (called me obsessed, but I cannot stop thinking about those ponds). 中島公園 🍁⭐⭐⭐★★ Admission: Free 🚇 Take the subway to Nakajima Koen St. The station exit is right inside the park.

Your kids will love meeting the icons of classic Hong Kong Ani-Com characters at Ani-Com Park. The characters are set up all over the park in silly poses that show what it’s really like to be a Hong Konger. Watch as animation melds with reality and your kids get to meet their heroes! The best part is: entry to the park is free!

With a breezy bayside ambiance like this, look no further for a picture-perfect picnic spot! Cyberport Waterfront Park is abundant in space—a rarity in Hong Kong. You will witness friendly fellow dog-lovers keen to say hello to you and your pooch. Parents bring their dogs and children to make good use of the playgrounds while they get some well-deserved rest. Leave it to the park to entertain the little ones!
