Founder Tan Tiong Hoe carries more than 50 years of heritage in roasting high-quality coffee, from his humble beginnings as a 16-year-old coffee shop apprentice to starting his own company that now caters to the country’s top food and beverage outlets. His son Jacob Tan is now at the helm of the cafe, offering 20 different origins of specialty coffee from Africa, Asia, and Central America. The outlet’s highlight? Known as one of the harbingers of third-wave coffee in Singapore, husband and wife duo Dennis and Jiamin established the cafe in 2012 as a passion project inspired by their love of coffee and travel. They work directly with coffee producers in Ethiopia and Kenya, even visiting cooperatives and farms to foster closer relationships with them.
