Their Salmon Bagel is totally overpriced. At upwards of HK$150. Which idiot would pay that much?! Me. Coz good bagels are hard to find in Hong Kong and there’s just something delightful about the fact that it’s bigger than my face and satisfies all my cravings. Though today, I noticed the Lounge at Four Seasons has those bagels as well! And I haven’t tried it but I ought to see how they compare. I also like their coffee (definitely better than Four Seasons‘ instant one-button tap coffee machine... in fact, why haven’t these hotels upgraded and hired proper baristas for coffee? In this day and age... but I digress). Oolaa’s coffee is real coffee (maybe not always the perfect espresso) but definitely none of that instant Nespresso junk.
This cutesy cafe located in Yau Ma Tei is filled with quirky paintings, fancy plants, and kitschy pieces. If you’re an avid guest, though, you’ll know the real star of Mum’s Not Home are their colorful cheesecakes and refreshing drinks! The shop boasts a variety of flavors for cheesecake lovers to indulge on, including masala, sweet potato, and a whole lot more!
